Updates are small adjustments or patches to adapt FWD to new networks or platforms. Upgrades are technical adjustments to the functionalities of FWD, but FWD stays the same in use. New release means that FWD changed totally and it is like a new product. In that case we advise people to change. However you always have the choice to do so or not. A new release only happens if a platform completely changes, so we have to adapt the program to go on.

FWD is a smart program and it functions as follows.
For example in FWD you have chosen a profile of 1 hour of work and a break of 10 minutes. When you are not working with the computer in that hour, that time will be automatically taken off the break time. That means that it is a very good possibility that after 1 hour you don’t get the full 10 minutes but only 2 minutes, because in that hour you did 8 minutes something else then working with the computer. (i.e. phoning, or a meeting etc..) If those other actions take longer then 10 minutes you don’t get a break at all. FWD says that you already have used the break for other actions. So if you don’t get a break during the day it means that you are doing well, according to the profile you have chosen.

It is not necessary. To use the micro-break can be annoying, because it will appear more then the normal break.

Research has shown that even short breaks like 10 or 20 seconds have beneficial effect on he body. The break is only for a few seconds and gives you a short recover time. And you can always click it away.

What does the information mean in the Information Centre?

FWD Pro is a backend webapplication which means that FWD Pro is a site on the internet where you can surf to. When you surfed there you need two codes to get in, just like internet banking. When you are in you can use FWD Pro on the internet.

Online means that you work on the internet. FWD sends its data automatically over the internet to a external server. Means you don’t have to configure on your computer, no stocking of data and maintenance can be done for free. So for a proper use of FWD you need a internet connection.

Your privacy is guaranteed protected. The information is encrypted and you can use a password on a personal level.
